Global business law

Why study Global business law?

We're committed to producing law graduates with an international perspective.

The era of globalisation increasingly requires people with a legal background to understand business, including the links between major business functions and the legal framework.

The only program of its kind in Australia, the Global Business Law program allows law graduates, certified practicing accountants and non-law graduates to study commercial law in areas of global interest, taught by some of the world's leading jurists.

If you're currently studying a Bachelor or Laws, subject to application, you can access up to four subjects from our Global Business program and have them count as electives within your degree.

Global Business Law subjects are usually taught intensively over a five day period in summer and winter semesters. They are taught by distinguished jurists and practitioners from all around the world, including the USA, Asia and Europe.

The program may include subjects like International Criminal Law, Commercial Dispute Resolution in China, Islamic Jurisprudence, USA Corporations Law and the like.
