Our Master of Professional Accounting also offers the flexibility to study at either our Sydney or Melbourne campuses .

A Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma can be obtained within the Masters of Professional Accounting (CPA Extension) should you require a stand-alone award prior to completing your Master’s degree.

You may also be able to apply for advanced standing for the first four units of the first semester of the course if you have completed similar subjects within an Australian Bachelor degree, or have relevant business experience.

Applicants with demonstrated prior learning in business, either in the form of an undergraduate degree in a business related field or with at least five years relevant business experience, will be eligible to apply for Advanced Standing (credit) for the four subjects of the first semester of the course. Students failing to pass this exam on the first attempt will be offered a second attempt, at their cost, in lieu of a supplementary exam.

Students completing a Master of Professional Accounting (CPA Australia Extension) replace elective subjects with six specific subjects relevant to the CPA Australia Extension. You’ll complete Ethics and Governance, Strategic Management Accounting, Financial Reporting, Global Strategy and Leadership, Contemporary Business Issues and Financial Risk Management.
