Ageing and aged care
Why study Ageing and aged care?
The world faces diverse and growing challenges associated with an ageing population. Gerontology coursework and research provides health and human services professionals with knowledge and skills to work effectively in areas associated with older people and make a positive contribution to the field.
We will not be taking new enrolments in 2013 due to a course review. Students who wish to pursue studies in the field of ageing and aged care in 2013 will have a number of options:
- Taking gerontology subjects as electives in the Master of Health Sciences
- Taking gerontology subjects as electives in the Master of Public Health
- Taking gerontology subjects as electives in the Master of Nursing
- Taking a research master in gerontology
