Course description
This course is structurally integrated with the Master of Public Health (MPH), a program which provides a wide variety of health practitioners (such as nurses and midwives, medical practitioners and dentists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists, dieticians, health managers) with the opportunity of undertaking postgraduate studies with a special focus on public health. The MPH course aims to provide graduates from the health sciences and other disciplines with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand different kinds of evidence used in health care. Students are trained to develop, analyse and implement policy; to plan and evaluate health services and programs.
Course structure
The Postgraduate Diploma is not offered as an enrolment option, however, students who enrol in the Master of Public Health but for various reasons are unable to complete the course may be eligible for a Postgraduate Diploma (with the completion of eight subjects).

Indicative (2009): $14,040 (per 120 credit points)
The University reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Fees will not normally rise above 7% per annum. Should the University decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year.
