Course description

This course provides health professionals with an interest in developing health promotion in their current work context to gain skills that will support a shift in career. Students have the opportunity to develop skills in health promotion planning and program delivery, evaluation and needs assessment and inter-organisational work with partners. The emphasis is on developing new skills that assist students to develop health education/health promotion aspects of their profession. It is designed to provide maximum flexibility for participants.

Course structure

The course comprises eight subjects and is normally undertaken on a part-time basis over two to five years but may be undertaken full-time over one year

Tuition fee (AUD)

Indicative fee (2010): $14,040 (per 120 credit points)
The University reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Fees will not normally rise above 7% per annum. Should the University decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year.

Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
