Course description

This course is designed to provide a range of opportunities for students to develop a deeper understanding of intensive care nursing through systematic analysis and reflection on the relationships between theory and practice.

Please note: This course will only be conducted if sufficient enrolments are achieved.

Course structure

Students who undertake the full Master course will complete either a minor thesis or clinical project. Exit options are available at two levels: Graduate Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma. The Graduate Certificate enables students to specialise in breast care nursing. Students who complete the Postgraduate Diploma have the option of specialising in a secondary area of interest.

Tuition fee (AUD)

Indicative (2010): $13,480 (per 120 credit points)
The University reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Fees will not normally rise above 7% per annum. Should the University decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year.

Additional costs (AUD)

Prerequisites

Applicants must be a Division 1 Registered Nurse and hold a current practising certificate with the Nurses Board of Victoria or its equivalent.
