Course description
NB: this course is not available in 2010, but will be available in 2011. Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma courses are available in 2010.
The Master of Fraud Investigation is designed to articulate with the Graduate Diploma in Fraud Investigation and provides an opportunity to acquire expertise in a new area of specialisation or build upon their pre-existing qualifications in particular areas of interest. The course offers an integrated program of theory, practice and research into Fraud Investigation and includes the study of criminology, criminal justice systems, social policy, and social order. Graduates of the program may be granted some credit towards the Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Prerequisites
Students with an LLB or an undergraduate or graduate degree from an Australian university, or a comparable degree from a recognised or accredited institution outside of Australia or the Graduate Diploma in Fraud Investigation will be eligible to apply directly for MFI. Candidates should have completed a Bachelor's degree at a suitably high level with an average grade of credit or above in the final year of undergraduate study. For non-LLB graduates, at least two years' relevant professional experience will be required.
