Course description
Combining studies in health administration with an MBA, this course is a comprehensive study package for professionals in health service settings who want to expand their career pathway into senior management roles in the public or private sectors. It also provides an entry into the health sector for managers working in non-healthcare settings.
Course structure
Students enrol in two semesters of study for the Master of Health Administration (MHA) and four terms of study for the Master of Business Administration (MBA). Students complete nine subjects from the MHA program and twelve subjects from the MBA program. The structure ensures essential areas are covered while allowing flexibility for students to pursue personal and professional interests.

Tuition fee (AUD)
Indicative (2010): $15,180 (per 120 credit points)
The University reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Fees will not normally rise above 7% per annum. Should the University decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year.

Applicants are required to hold a three-year undergraduate degree and have a minimum of two years' professional experience in the health system. Applicants are also required to submit a one-page statement on their reasons for study and provide two referees in support of their application. Applicants may be required to attend an interview. Students who have completed one of the Graduate Certificates or the Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management, and are seeking to progress to the Master's degree, require a B average.
