Course description

This course provides health professionals with an interest in developing health promotion in their current work context to gain skills that will support a shift in career. Students have the opportunity to develop skills in health promotion planning and program delivery, evaluation and needs assessment, and inter-organisational work with partners. The emphasis is on developing new skills that assist students to develop health education/health promotion aspects of their profession. It is designed to provide maximum flexibility for participants.

Course structure

The Graduate Certificate requires completion of four subjects and will normally be undertaken part-time over one or two years. Subject choice is flexible with each student's program being developed in consultation with the course coordinator.

Indicative fee (2010): $7020 (60 credit points)
The University reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Fees will not normally rise above 7% per annum. Should the University decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year.
