Course description
This course is part of La Trobe University's 'Study Tourism and Hospitality Management in Australia' program, a unique multi-campus program designed for graduates of a Tourism and Hospitality associate degree (or equivalent) who wish to gain an internationally recognised Bachelor's degree in one year. The program comprises three semesters of study at different La Trobe University campuses which enables students to combine specialist study while experiencing a range of locations across Victoria, Australia, an exciting tourism and hospitality precinct.
The course is structured to allow students to tailor a program that suits their specific interests (e.g. Rural Tourism at Bendigo).

Melbourne (Bundoora) campus: Tourism management, accommodation management, food service management, accounting, economics, event management, hospitality, human resource management, languages, marketing, tourism-adventure, catering and conference management.
Bendigo campus: Rural tourism, community tourism, tourism and the environment, destination marketing and management, festival and the event tourism, tourism enterprise management.

Tuition fee (AUD)

The University reserves the right to vary fees on an annual basis. Fees will not normally rise above 7% per annum. Should the University decide to increase its fees, that increase will take effect on 1 January of the following year.
Additional costs (AUD)
Melbourne (Bundoora) campus: Students are required to purchase a basic hospitality uniform. The School of Sport, Tourism and Hospitality Management corporate uniforms are available at a cost of approximately A$150.
Bendigo campus: Students are required to purchase a basic hospitality uniform. Uniforms are purchased through BRIT as part of the TAFE course component.
Additional Information
Mid-year entry is only available to students seeking Advanced Standing (credit).
English language requirements
Successful completion of English for Further Studies Advanced Stage 5B certificate at undergraduate (EFS5 (60%) UG) level conducted by La Trobe University Language Centre; for more information please visit the International College website.
IELTS (Academic) score of 6.0 with no individual band score less than 6.0; or
TOEFL Paper-based Test: a minimum score of 550 with a score of 5 or better in the Test of Written English; or
TOEFL Computer-based Test: a minimum score of 213 with a score of 5 in essay writing; or
TOEFL Internet-based Test: a minimum score of 80 with no individual score less than 20; or
Satisfactory completion of an English language subject at Year 12 or equivalent level. This must have been completed in the last two years and at an academic level acceptable to the University; or
Approved equivalent.
