Audio-visual licence

Part VA of the Copyright Act contains a statutory licensing scheme for the copying and communication of broadcasts (television, radio, cable and satellite). Copying and/or communication undertaken in reliance on the provisions of Part VA will not infringe the copyright in a broadcast, or in any work, sound recording or cinematographic film included in a broadcast.
