Exceptions allowing for the copying or communciation of copyright material without infringement - audio-visual
The following exceptions are covered in the Universities Australia Guidelines.
- Copying/communication authorised by the copyright owner
- Fair dealing
- Fair dealing for the purposes of criticism or review
- Fair dealing for the purpose of research or study
- Filming or recording broadcasts for private or domestic use
- Commercially purchased or hired videos and sound recordings
- Purchasing tapes from licenced Resource Centres
- Preview copying
