China has attracted the world’s attention with its rapid economic development in recent decades. Economic development is also driving societal changes. The impact of Chinese social and economic development on the global economy has become a hot topic throughout the world.

The Chinese Social and Economic Development Seminar Series systematically explores the opportunities and challenges of China’s social and economic development. The series provides a platform for scholars to share ideas, exchange knowledge and encourage inter-disciplinary dialogue with the aim of improving the quality of China-related study.
