China study tours
Cooperating with two leading Chinese Universities, Peking University and Chongqing University, the Institute offers in-country study tours to China to provide students with an opportunity to obtain greater inter-cultural understanding, including language learning, and an overseas educational experience. The study tours consist of the Australia-China Student Forum (ACSF) to Beijing and the Study Tour to Chongqing.
As a program established in 2007, formerly known as the Student Cross Culture Program (SCCP), the ACSF has built a strong reputation and is popular amongst both teachers and students. Most participants describe the tour as a life changing experience. The Study Tour to Chongqing is a new program with similar expectations. These study tours provide students with direct contact to their peers in China and in the opportunity to truly engage with local Chinese culture.
