Industry IT scholarship
These scholarships offer an amazing chance to gain industry sponsorship for the duration of your IT degree. Successful applicants, enrolled full time in a Bachelor of Information Technology at Bendigo, gain $1000 each semester while studying for the first two years of their course.
The third year then consists of full-time, paid Industry Based Learning (IBL) scholarship placements or employment semesterfor 40 weeks, comprising two 20-week periods of assessed work activities.
Throughout each 20-week period, students are mentored and supported by a University appointed industry partner coordinator, with the work placement equating to four subjects over the year.
Although the sponsor organisations are not obliged to offer further employment, many students gain full-time positions after graduation.
Dates
The first placement starts in early February and finishes mid-June. The second starts in early July and finishes mid-November.
