About the Department
Our mission is to advance innovation and knowledge of computer science and computer engineering through internationally and nationally recognised research, teaching and services, and to train highly employable information technology and computer science graduates.
Facilities
Melbourne (Bundoora)
The Department is located in a purpose-built building offering a range of facilities, including 350 workstations, as well as dedicated Cisco networking and postgraduate Windows/UNIX labs. All of our systems are accessible 24 hours a day in a secure environment and are equipped with the latest technology and software designed to meet all student needs while completing their course.
Bendigo
We offer six secure computer laboratories including two 24-hour labs and a dedicated UNIX lab. Students also have the opportunity for hands-on enterprise networking experience in our state-of-the-art Cisco laboratory. This contains a number of PCs running UNIX and modern Cisco switches and routers.
