Mentor a La Trobe final year student

Would you like to develop your own coaching, leadership and communication skills? Are you interested in using your knowledge and experience to help guide someone who is embarking on their career?

By becoming a mentor you can help nuture students to become better informed graduates with an increased chance of securing meaningful employment at the end of their degree. Being a mentor might include giving career information and support, helping with resume preparation, providing networking opportunities, offering work experience and/or generally acting as a sounding board allowing the student to bounce ideas off someone with more experience.

The commitment is not huge. At a minimum you are asked to attend a short induction workshop, meet with your student four to six times between March and October and then attend the final celebration event at the end of the program.
