How? What are the options?
The La Trobe China Health Program offers a range of study options, ranging from short courses to fellowships to masters and doctoral study.
The Master of Health Administration provides an opportunity for advanced study in health care management and policy. This program is presented in association with Peking University, Harbin Medical University and Tianjin Medical University. The course is taught in Chinese in both centres.
The Basic Certificate program provides a broad introduction to health care management (managing organisations, managing money, managing people, managing information, managing change, and managing preformance). The Certificate program is presented in association with Harbin Medical University,Peking University Health Sciences Centre and Tianjin Medical University. The course is taught in Chinese in both centres.
The Master of Health Science. This program provides an opportunity for customised study in management and policy linked to a minor research project. This would be particularly useful for managers, government officials or academics with some research experience who wish to undertake comparative study in a particular field (eg informatics, health promotion, rehabilitation, etc). This program can be taken in Chinese or in English.
Short courses. The CHP presents a range of short courses in Melbourne including visits to Australian centres and facilities. We are able to fashion particular programs of study around the needs of the participants.
Fellowships. Individuals pursuing professional development opportunities in health management and policy and related fields should consider spending time working in the La Trobe China Health Program. We are able to shape a program of study to meet your needs.
