Recent Events...

The AUQA delegation consists of Prof Kevin Mc Conkey and Dr Mark Hay visited Harbin Medical University on 14th of August for the MHA offshore program. Dr Julie Jackson, Pro Vice-Chancellor of La Trobe University and Dr David Legge, Director of China Health Program，Professor Wu Qunhong were accompanying the panel during the visit. The panel was impressed with the achievements of the joint program and also the excellent teaching qualities.

2009年8月14日澳大利亚高校教学质量审计委员会访问了拉筹伯大学在哈尔滨医科大学的卫生管理硕士合作项目。拉筹伯大学副校长茱丽博士、中国卫生项目主任戴维博士和 哈尔滨医科大学吴群红教授陪同访问团进行了一天的走访。参观访问后，访问团凯文教授和麦克博士对项目的教学质量作出了高度的评价。

Dr George Liu and Dr David Legge was invited by Professor Pengqian Fang to visit Huazhong University of Science and Technology .The China Health Program of La Trobe University has been an Australian partner in this proposal of “Human Resources Development and System Design in Community Health Service Institutions in Urban Areas in China” submitted to the China-Australia Health and HIV/AIDS Facility.

刘朝杰副主任和戴维.莱格主任应方鹏骞教授的邀请访问了华中科技大学。双方就共同研究领域的合作进行了充分的沟通交流。

Dr David Legge directed a one week IPHU (International People’s Health University) course at Aristotle University in Thessaloniki (a La Trobe partner university) .

戴维.莱格主任在希腊塞萨洛尼基亚里士多德大学主办了一周的“世界人民卫生大学”的课程班。

Dr David and Dr George Liu were both invited to participate the World Federation of Public Health Associations conference (from 27 April - 1 May). Dr David is a co-author on two papers which have been accepted for presentation at this conference.

戴维.莱格主任和刘朝杰副主任应邀参加了2009年4月27日在土耳其首都伊斯坦布尔召开的全球公共卫生大会。戴维博士有两篇论文被在大会采用并作了主题发言。

Dr David and Dr George Liu were both invited to attend (and present an invited paper to) the GP and Community Health conference in Beijing from 25-26 April.

Dr David Legge was invited to participate in the Global Health Course in Manila presented by the University of the Philippines. The course runs from 13-17 of April.

2009年4月，戴维莱格博士参应菲律宾大学的邀请，参加了”全球卫生现状”的课程班授课。

China Health program host a meeting for China Australia Health and HIV/AIDS Facility delegation on Wed 8th April 2009. The purpose of the meeting is to enable the CAHHF officials to visit La Trobe and meet with the La Trobe staff members who have been named as collaborators on the health policy projects which are being funded under the CAHHF. La Trobe staff has been cited as the Australian partners in at least eight of the 21 successful projects of the total 261 submitted proposals.

2009年4月8日，澳大利亚的中国健康和艾滋病毒/艾滋病基金委员会访问了拉筹伯大学中国卫生项目和健康科学学部，在会上，委员会专家通报了拉筹伯大学中国卫生项目直接参与的投标项目中有8项中标，占到中标总数（共有20项）的40%。委员会会共收到来自中国和澳洲的261项提案。

In Nov, George and David participated a two day workshop on Community Health Management in Kunming, China arranged by the China Community Health Association.

The 2007 MHA(Harbin) graduates attended the graduation ceremony in Bundoora on 17th of Oct,2008.

In early Sep 2008， CHP commenced teaching of 2008 MHA students in Mel.  This is the 8th cohort of the onshore MHA Program.

Professor Wu Mianhua, President of Nan Jing University of Chinese Medicine visited La Trobe Unversity and met with Professor Paul Johnson on 16th of July.

南京中医药大学校长，吴勉华教授率团近日访问了拉筹波大学，拉筹波大学校长,保罗.约翰森教授与代表团亲切会见。

In early May 2008， CHP commenced teaching of 2008 PGD students in China.  The 140 enrolments bespeak the continuing and growing success t of LTU program in Harbin.

2008年5月，中澳合作卫生管理研究生学历班（第六期）在哈尔滨成功开班。

In mid April George and David resourced a two day workshop on Community Health Management in Chongqing, China. The workshop was arranged by the China Community Health Association and provided the opportunity of talking further with the leaders of the CCHA about developing community health care in China.

应中国社区卫生服务协会邀请，戴维.莱格主任和刘朝杰博士在重庆论坛做了主题报告，研论中国社区卫生改革发展前沿的问题。

In late March and early April CHP staffs held the last workshop for the 2007 Harbin MHA cohort.

2008年3月中国卫生项目和哈医公卫学院成功举办07级硕士班春季讨论会。

David Legge presented an invited seminar at Flinders University on Thursday 21 February, entitled, ‘Whatever happened to the barefoot doctor: the health sector challenges facing China in the context of economic transition’.  The seminar was well attended and well received.

戴维.莱格主任应邀在Flinders大学作了关于“赤脚医生-经济转型下的中国医疗改革困境与机遇” 的报告。

Vice President Li, Dr Hao Yanhua, Mr Zhang Donghua and Ms Zhang Enping visited La Trobe on 18th and 19th February. This visit had been planned some time ago as part of building strong personal links between our two universities.

哈尔滨医科大学李校长一行四人于2008年2月18，19日两天参观访问了拉筹伯大学，具体讨论了下一步双方具体合作发展的领域，同时加深了两校间的传统友谊。
