Short courses
The Centre for China Studies provides a comprehensive offering of established English language training courses for university teachers, students, and high school teachers from China. In addition, drawing on the academic strengths and resources of the three partner universities: La Trobe University, Peking University, and Beijing Foreign Studies University, the Centre has the capacity to develop customized short courses for clients from the education, research, government, and business sectors across a variety of discipline areas.
Regardless of the disciplinary focus of the short course offering, your learning experience will be complemented with an exploration of culture.
Short courses are relevant to:
- Educational, scientific and technological entities.
- Government departments and agencies.
- Business (ie: agriculture, manufacturing, public health, commence and finance, IT, mining, pharmaceutical, hospitality, trade and so on).
The Centre's short courses are an excellent way to enhance the skills and knowledge of the participants, and also offer the great opportunity for the participants to learn and experience Australian social environment, economic development and culture through onsite visits.
Short courses vary in length and are offered at a variety of times throughout the year.
