Australia-China Student Forum
The Australia-China Student Forum (ACSF) - Bridging for Excellence & Prosperity is jointly organised and sponsored by La Trobe University and Peking University, China. The forum has been developed following the success of the Student Cross Cultural Program (SCCP) established in 2007.
In 2012 the ACSF was extended to incorporate reciprocal arrangements with other Chinese partner universities: Beijing Foreign Studies University (BSFU) and Chongqing University (CU).
As a result, the ACSF program now operates across two China destinations:
- ACSF Beijing - LTU in partnership with PKU and BFSU
- ACSF Chongqing - LTU in partnership with CU.
- To advance knowledge and enhance interest in international study through deep exploration of a wide range of significant issues in both Australia and China;
- To facilitate communication among young people from Australia and China; and
- To enrich learning experience, and encourage students to undertake in-country studies, both in learning another language and gaining greater inter-cultural understanding.
