Educational cooperation
The Centre for China Studies has extensive academic collaborations with leading Chinese universities and research institutions. Collaborations may take the form of student exchange and joint degree programs and generally reflect the University’s commitment to the internationalisation of education relations.
Australia-China Student Forum
The Forum, formerly known as the Student Cross Culture Program (SCCP), is a reciprocal exchange program between La Trobe University and Peking University that was established in 2007. The four week program sees students from Australia and China engaging in a dialogue around a given theme and gaining a deeper intercultural understanding and respect for one another’s countries.
Semester Student Exchange Program (SSEP)
A program currently in development, this formal full semester student exchange program will involve credit recognition by all three partner universities: La Trobe University, Peking University and Beijing Foreign Studies University.
Joint degree programs
