Nessus…

Nessus is a famous centaur (mythological creature which is part human part horse) that took Deianeira from Heracles trying to rape her. Heracles killed Nessus when he fired a hydra-poisoned arrow into his chest. Prior to his death Nessus tricked Deianeira into believing that a potion made from his semen and blood would ensure Heracles undying love. However, this potion was poisonous and lead to Heracles death (Wikipedia 2006).
