There are many, many versions of the popular fairy tale “Cinderella”. I have chosen to compare 3 versions: Charles Perrault’s “Cinderilla” (or The Little Glass Slipper) (1964), The Brothers Grimm’s “Ashputtel” (1812) and Walt Disney’s animated film “Cinderella” (1950).
