Mirrors are a recurring theme in many stories for children, and have been so throughout history, the idea that by looking into a piece of glass we can see our reflection has intrigued and fascinated people the world over until today we have the popular idea of a ‘magic mirror’

 

Perhaps one of the most popular of these is that featured in the Grimm’s Brother’s famous Fairy Tale, Snow White, which was also one of Disney’s first animated features. The now famous line of ‘Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all’ has remained in the minds of people everywhere.
