This website explores picture book adaptations of one of Australia's best known poets, A. B. (Banjo) Paterson. Comparisons are made between Paterson's own children's picture book 'The Animals Noah Forgot' and the reproduced versions of 'Waltzing Matlida' and 'Mulga Bill's Bicycle'.

Many of Banjo's classic poems have been reproduced as picture books for children and it my hope that you will find a new appreciation for such works and a place for poetry/verse in your classroom.
