Cinderella is the classic fairy tale that every young girl dreams she could be. Cinderella begins being the domestic female character that we see in many different fairy tales. Cinderella's mother dies and her father remarries to another woman that has two daughters of her own, Cinderella's life is never to be the same again. She cooks and cleans and carries out the domestic role like a mother. Cinderella has one thing over her awful step sisters and that is her looks. Even though her step sisters get treated well and spoilt rotten Cinderella is a naturally gorgeous girl. In one version of the story there are three balls that Cinderella attends as the prince keeps holding the balls to try and find out who this beautiful girl is, that he keeps seeing. Where as in other versions the prince only holds one ball then sends his servants off to find this gorgeous young lady. Demanding that every woman in the town try on the shoe (that Cinderella dropped as she ran out of the ball), so he can find his princess and marry her. Of course know one expects that Cinderella could not possibly fit in the shoe, nor did they believe that Cinderella could of possibly been the beautiful young lady at the ball the night before. As soon as it is determined that Cinderella was this beautiful girl the prince proposed. The most common aspect in each of these fairy tales is that at the end of the story the Prince always proposes and the couple marry to live happily ever after. I have not come across a fairy tale that the main couple don't marry in the end and live happily ever after. The ending is what makes the fairy tales so special. Another common aspect in many of the fairy tales analsyed on this website is the wicked step mother how seems to appear to make the main characters life trouble.
