Sisters in Crime
Sisters in Crime Australia promote the writing of crime fiction by women. The Davitt Awards are named in honour of Ellen Davitt (1812-1879) who wrote Australia’s first mystery novel, Force and Fraud, in 1865. There are annual Adult, Young Fiction and Readers' Choice categories awarded since 2001.
