AUSTRALIAN CHRISTIAN BOOK OF THE YEAR AWARD

This award was presented annually by the Australian Christian Literature Society (a branch of the Society for Promoting Christian Knowledge) for a book that presents issues of Christianity or belief in the Australian community and lifestyle. Criteria included the original nature of the work, its literary style and presentation through illustration, design and text.
However, after 2001, the category of Children's book was no longer listed in their awards by SPCK.
