CHRICHTON AWARD
for illustration

The Victorian Branch of the Children's Book Council present this award to a newcomer in the field of children's book illustration to encourage outstanding style and talent. It commemorates Raymond Wallace Crichton, a long time supporter of the branch and its efforts.
It is gaining national currency as part of the overall CBC Book of the Year Awards and is announced in conjunction with them.
