Bilby Award

BILBY AWARD
Queensland popular choice award

The Children's Book Council of Australia (Queensland branch) instituted the BILBY (Books I Love Best Yearly) Award to encourage young readers and to publicise the titles that are enjoyed by these young readers. The titles are not limited to Australian authors or illustrators. Students nominate books for shortlists and then vote on the eventual winners. The winning titles of the previous two years are not eligible for entry.
