Baum, like AA Milne and Tolkien, has suffered (in terms of critical analysis) by having his stories become cult items. Most web sites, therefore, tend to be enthusiastic fan sites.  Typical are:

And, as the movie is now inextricably etched into most people's perception of the story, compare Warner Brothers' Wizard of Oz site with the critical analyses above. 

And lastly, why not do a bit of searching. The ubiquitous Google or Alta Vista build good results from your search.
