Demand for care

Due to a high demand for care, prospective parents are encouraged to place their details on our waitlist as soon as possible.

The Service achieves high quality ratings when undertaking external assessment. Across the whole service we work on child staff:ratios above those required under Regulation. The Centre also has higher staff ratios with higher levels of qualification than required under regulation. These factors along with our beautiful physical surrounds increase the demand.

There is an established list of families interested in obtaining a position at the Centre with major intakes being at the start of each academic year. However, requiring a start at the beginning of each year still does not guarantee you a position - it is all about availability. There are many variables that impact that availability.

Access will depend on your child’s age, the days required, and what is vacant.

Mid-year intake will be reliant on families leaving our service or reducing the hours they require. Availability of a mid-year start is difficult for us to determine.

Care types

Visits to the Centre (whilst on wait list or interested in going on the wiatlist)

Book a visit

For families looking to use All Day Care or Sessional Care, please call and make arrangements to visit the Centre.

Visits are generally held at 10.30 or 2.30 with the staff in your child’s playroom.

Because this is the children’s 'home away from home', careful planning is required to ensure positive experiences for children and yourselves as visitors.

Open days - Margot Prior Wing

Due to overwhelming demand the Margot Prior Wing has restricted visitations.

The Margot Prior Wing has two open days per year, please go to Margot Prior Wing - Autism Specific Early Learning and Care.
