Miller Travelling Fellowship ($2500)
For Postgraduate Students in the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Sciences (LIMS)
The La Trobe Institute for Molecular Sciences (LIMS) may award Miller Travelling Fellowships (up to $2500) to assist postgraduate students (who are Australian residents or Australian citizens) to attend an international conference at which they are making a presentation. Preference will be given to students in their second or third year. Funds will be available to support a maximum of one fellowship per candidature. Funds will be distributed on a competitive basis and will be considered four times per year (deadline for applications: Feb 1, May 1, Aug 1, Nov 1). The travel fund is administered by the School Executive Officer through the Executive Director of LIMS.
Postgraduate students should supply information about the proposed use of the Fellowship using this application form. The Miller Foundation would like to receive a brief acknowledgement from the recipients with details of the conference they attended and their area of research interest upon completion of the Fellowship.

Bruce Stone Postgraduate Travel Award ($500)
Funds (up to $500) can be made available to assist postgraduate students to attend national or international conferences at which they are making a presentation. School Research funds may be available to support one local (including New Zealand) and one overseas conference per candidature. Preference will be given to 2nd and 3rd year students. To apply for a travel award, postgraduate students need to complete an Application Form and submit it to the Postgraduate Coordinator (Dr Conor Hogan).
Posters ($200)
School Research funds are are available to assist postgraduate students in the preparation of posters for conferences. Students may be entitled to obtain up to $200 towards the cost of producing a poster. Requests for assistance should be directed to the Postgraduate Coordinator (Dr Conor Hogan)
