Peptide dimers chemistry
(with Prof. Seb Marcuccio, AMT)The company Advanced Molecular Technologies is interested in extending their catalogue of compounds. The chemistry found in our department for the manufacture of N-methyl amino acids can be extended to provision of dipeptides having the N-methyl amino acid in the dimer. There is a large number of potential dimers possible (approx. 400). The project can also look at new reactions of 5-oxazolidinones.
