Chemistry Honours Entry Requirements
The requirements for entry are:
- An average grade of at least 65% in 60 points of third year chemistry
- A third year average (120 points total) of at least 60%
- All requirements completed for a pass degree
Those applying for entry to Chemistry Honours from tertiary institutions other than La Trobe University must have third year results equivalent to those required of La Trobe University students.
As soon as examination results are available, all students who qualify for entry to Honours in Chemistry will be notified by letter and provided with further information about re-enrolment. Any student who does not receive a letter but believes they are eligible should contact the Postgraduate Coordinator.
Prospective honours students should need to complete a project application form and submit it to the Postgraduate Coordinator before the closing date stipulated on the form. Late applications may be accepted at the discretion of the Postgraduate Coordinator.
