Welcome to the Department of Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry has a proud history of excellent research and teaching, being established as a foundation Department of the University. The Department is a member of the School of Molecular Sciences and Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering.
Chemistry is taught at all year levels in the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Chemical Science and Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry Degrees, as well as Honours and post graduate degrees by research at Masters and PhD level. We also offer a Masters of Chemical Science degree.
Excellent facilities are available for research across a wide range of chemistry. All academic staff offer projects for qualified research applicants.
