The Department, a member of the School of Molecular Sciences in the Faculty of Science, Technology and Engineering, has a proud history of excellent teaching and research.
Chemistry is taught at all year levels in the Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Chemical Science and Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry Degrees. This site contains feedback on the quality assurance of our wide range of undergraduate courses, with extensive teaching support material available for them via LMS (Learning Management System - formerly WebCT).
At the Honours, Masters and PhD level, all academic staff offer projects and are keen to attract qualified applicants. The Honours projects are indicative of the particular research interests of each staff member, with further information available from their individual home pages.
