- Dr Daniela Ionescu teaches in the area of Geotechnical Engineering, Transport Engineering and Civil Engineering Materials.
Professional involvement
- Past consulting projects include slope stability analysis of embankments, dams and tailing dams, investigation of behaviour of soils and crushed rock (railway ballast), materials testing.
Research interests
- Dr Ionescu's research interests include the behaviour of soils, rocks and other civil engineering materials and use of waste products in civil engineering projects.
