Teaching areas
- I am a part-time lecturer on the Bachelor of Civil engineering course where I contribute to the teaching of engineering materials and hydraulics.
Research interests
- My field of research is the mechanical properties of materials and the relationship of these properties to the microstructure of the material. Currently I am investigating the flow properties of ice containing silt because the debris-laden ice at the base of glaciers and ice caps greatly influences the flow of these ice masses.
