Aims

The VicRoads / La Trobe University Civil Engineering Internship Program has been established to provide support for the completion of a tertiary qualification of future professional civil engineering staff. It is available to students undertaking the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) course, or one of the Engineering double degree courses, at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University.

Benefits

  • fully-paid work experience during the course (up to 12 weeks per year),
  • financial support in the form of a $500 La Trobe University bookshop account per semester for the remainder of the course,
  • access to career mentoring advice from VicRoads professional Civil Engineers.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria

  • have completed secondary education in Northern Victoria,
  • be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate Civil Engineering course at La Trobe University, Bendigo, and
  • have a strong academic background.
