Aims

The Coleambally Irrigation / La Trobe University Civil Engineering Scholarship Program has been established to provide support for the completion of a tertiary qualification of our future professional staff. It is available to students undertaking the Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) course, or one of the Engineering double degree courses, at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University.

Benefits

  • financial support in the form of a $1,000 scholarship,
  • vacation work experience to the approximate value $8400 for a second-year student or $9500 for a third-year student. The amounts are based on a twelve weeks period of employment and include a salary, 12% superannuation and free accommodation,
  • access to career mentoring advice from professional Civil Engineers.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following criteria

  • enrolled in a full-time undergraduate Civil Engineering course at the Bendigo campus of La Trobe University,
  • have a good academic background.

Successful applicants will be determined through an interview process.

Applicants will be required to submit a resume and an academic transcript with their application. The selection of the applicants will be made by Coleambally Irrigation and La Trobe University based on academic results and a formal interview.
