Awards and prizes

These awards and prizes are available to students at the Bendigo campus.

Civil Engineering Staff Award ($400)

Awarded to a first year Civil Engineering student continuing their course at the Bendigo campus who achieves the highest average in first year examinations.

Australian Institute of Steel Construction AISC Steel Design Award ($200)

Awarded to a third year Civil Engineering student at the Bendigo campus, who has demonstrated excellence in steel design.

CPA Australia Accounting Awards ($500)

Awarded annually for the best academic performance in each year of the Bachelor of Business course with major studies in accounting, or the Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Computing, Bachelor of Business/Bachelor of Engineering or the Bachelor of Applied Science/Bachelor of Business double-degree courses in first, third and fourth years at the Bendigo campus.

City of Greater Bendigo Prize ($400)

Awarded to the student achieving the best results in transport engineering in the final year of the Bachelor of Civil Engineering course at Bendigo campus.

Institution of Engineers, Australia (Bendigo Chapter) Award

($500, medal and two years free graduate membership of the Institution) Awarded to a Bendigo campus final year Civil Engineering student on the basis of their academic record and involvement in extra curricular activities and special projects.

Institution of Engineers Australia Book Prize

Awarded to a Bendigo campus student who, throughout their final year, has achieved distinction in some aspect of study associated with structural engineering.

Tom Connor Memorial Award ($400)

This award is available annually for second-year Civil Engineering students at the Bendigo campus. The award is made on the basis of practical work, design skills, self-motivation, initiative and creativity.
