My name is Jackson Renton and I’m a Student Ambassador at La Trobe University. My career plan is to work in the construction industry.
I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering / Bachelor of Business. Being a Student Ambassador is so rewarding, I get to meet lots of new people, work with a great team of people, and all while completing my studies.
I love being a future ambassador as I get to help people in making the very important decisions about their future, both for their career and as a person. I love meeting new people and being involved with the university and being an ambassador is the perfect way to do this.
Talk to as many people involved with the university as possible!! I know that the best information I got when deciding on where my future was heading was talking to people already in the university system.
La Trobe University is a friendly and fun environment in which I can further my learning to suit my educational goals. The lecturers are always open for questions and the facilities are first class. Most importantly though is the people you can meet here, that is what truly makes La Trobe so great.
