CDIP Launch

The La Trobe University Cultural Diversity and Inclusive Practice Toolkit was launched by Vice-Chancellor Professor Paul Johnson on Wednesday 20th February 2008.  Professor Johnson outlined the importance of all staff at La Trobe valuing diversity and praised the toolkit as a key resource in supporting the community to ensure inclusive practices are maintained.  He highlighted one of the documents that particularly resonated with him, Guidance to Naming Systems which gives general guidelines to naming systems across the world.

The Cultural Diversity and Inclusive Practice Toolkit was developed through the collaboration of the Academic Development Unit and the Equity and Access Unit. The Units have also developed a number of workshops that support the materials. These are available to all areas of the university.  For more information on the workshops or to book a workshop for staff, please contact Jennie Lynch of the ADU or Shannon Kerrigan of the E&A Unit.
