Student Career Mentoring Program
If you will be completing your final year of study at the end of 2009 and would like to be guided through your transition to work by someone with professional experience, then the Career Mentoring Program could suit you. We have mentors who cover a wide range of professions, career paths and organisations.
We will try to match you with someone who understands your field of interest and who has the life experiences to support you as you go through the decision-making process, explore jobs or find out what it’s like in the workplace. They will be your sounding board and will share with you their knowledge and experience about entering the world of work. They may also be able to help you increase your network and widen your horizons about the future.
The program runs from April to October each year. During this time you will meet your mentor at least five times and attend an introductory and celebratory event together.
