Print on Demand* (POD) and Webtail** services
Campus Graphics offers a number of services to help La Trobe University staff distribute their journals and books using the Internet.
In conjunction with Finance Division and Westpac Bank, payments are made using Master Card and Visa.
This webtail or "desktop ordering to customer delivery" service allows for:
- ordering and payment across the Internet of single or multiple book/s and journal/s that are printed immediately and delivered by mail;
- the selling of books, journals & articles in a protected pdf format using the Internet;
- the delivery by mail of books & journals already printed and held in stock, and lastly.
- the delivery any type of printed or digital items.
Option 1 results in:
- no upfront print costs;
- no retail markup costs;
- no need to manage stock;
- no wasted stock;
- world wide coverage, and
- backlist of out of print publications.
The remaining 3 options means:
- sell existing stocks of books & journals;
- sell existing books & journals in a digital format in a controlled manner;
- no retail markup costs;
- world wide coverage, and
- backlist of out of print publications.
Other related Campus Graphics services:
