Environmental Policy

Campus Graphics recognises that for an Environmental Policy to be effective we must focus on minimizing the impact of our own operations. Accordingly, we will make efforts to ensure that our facilities and business practices adhere to environmental safeguards.

Upon request, we will reveal the environmental impact of our operations, and where necessary and practical reduce those impacts.

The Campus Graphics environmental objectives aim to protect both its workers and the environment alike.
The policy which we have adopted states that Campus Graphics will:

  • Report, upon request, on a number of factors, including the recycling of paper and safe disposal of hazardous and toxic substances.

  • We will continue our use of environmentally certified paper and print products, and use energy efficient equipment.
  • Cultivate a work ethic with a high level of awareness of waste minimisation and recycling.

  • Attempt to reduce the environmental impact that relates to shipping by, where applicable, aiming to purchase more locally produced and grown products. Regularly reviewing pollution based practices and monitor them by minimising the creation of waste and reducing the environmental impact of its discharges to air, water and land;

  • Continue to place a level of high importance for the conservation of energy. We endeavour to preserve energy by turning off lights of unoccupied rooms, turning on and operating machinery and printery production equipment during the period that it is needed.

  • Adhere to our current practice of recycling waste such as paper and cardboard, aluminium and plastic and be sure they are sorted and stored accordingly in preparation for removal.
  • Dispose of toners and cartridges responsibly and ascertain they are collected and recycled accordingly by suppliers.

  • Conduct regular reviews of the Campus Graphics environmental policy and procedures to ensure that they are continually improving.
