Language and Academic Skills Unit (LASU)

The Language and Academic Skills Unit (LASU) in the faculty of Law and Management assists students to present university standard work. Discussion prior to writing and during the writing process makes writing much easier. It can help to reduce frustration and loss of precious time used for rewriting.

The LASU works with coursework students as well as research students. Coursework students can make individual appointments to discuss academic skills and/or form study groups that will be supported by LASU.

To develop thesis writing skills research students can receive help with planning and structuring individual chapters, general writing skills, reference conventions and editing skills.
