Learning supportIn line with La Trobe's vision 2015, the Faculty of Law and Management has an objective to transform student lives through learning. To ensure students are equipped for meeting the challenges of their academic and future work-life, the faculty has developed learning support services, offered at each La Trobe campus.

For academic studies there is Academic Language and Learning (ALL) and for opportunities to apply theoretical learning in the workplace there are programs offered by Work Integrated Learning (WIL).

The Academic Language and Learning (ALL) Unit works closely with teaching staff to ensure that all Faculty of Business, Economics and Law students – including those from non-English-speaking backgrounds – develop high-level academic speaking, writing, reading, and numeracy skills required for successful learning in their course. To achieve those ends, the ALL Unit staff: collaborate on course and subject design; advise on teaching and learning strategies; teach/co-teach special undergraduate and postgraduate subjects, tutorials and workshops; and provide professional development for staff.
